Will Leather Sofas Online send an order confirmation via email?
Yes, we will send you an immediate confirmation to the email address you supplied with your order and then call you within 2 working days (not counting Sunday) to discuss when you would like your furniture to be delivered and to arrange a date that suits you.

What is Leather Sofas Online's returns policy?
NON-FAULTY GOODS

Because we are online sofa specialists we offer a unique Money Back Guarantee, FREE delivery, FREE return service for upholstery items, excluding self-assembly sofas, ottomans and other products, but including all other sofas and sofa beds, armchairs and corner seating, which are delivered by a 2-man team. If you change your mind when our two-man team deliver your sofa (excluding self assembly sofas) and see it in your living room, they will take it back right away. This allows us to use the same vehicle journey and delivery team to collect the goods and to protect the furniture with the original packaging. Your money will be returned in full to the same credit card or by cheque whichever was originally used for the transaction.

If however you decide to return any non-faulty goods at any time after the original delivery vehicle has driven away from the delivery address - for example a couple of days later - then we will charge you the cost of the collection and the original delivery, which can total £170. So you can return non-faulty goods up to 8 days after they are delivered, but to enjoy the FREE return service they must be re-packed and taken away at the time that the delivery is made.

You will appreciate therefore that it is very important that you are at home when the delivery is made to take a decision while the delivery team are still there. To take advantage of our Money Back Guarantee, FREE delivery, FREE return service we also ask that you order a FREE leather sample and check that the goods you have ordered will fit through all the openings to the place where you want to put them in your home.

NON-FAULTY GOODS RETURNED AFTER THE DELIVERY DAY

Goods that are returned after the day of delivery must be returned within 8 days to the warehouse in their original packaging and condition and you will receive a full refund excluding the original delivery charge. You must also pay the cost of returning the goods and this is non-refundable. If you are unable to return the goods yourselves, we can arrange for this to be done on your behalf, but we will charge you for this service. Where you wish to return an item that is not an error on our part this will incur a re-stocking charge, which may be as high as 50% of the value of the goods. Unfortunately goods that have been used cannot be accepted for credit.

FAULTY GOODS

If there is any visible damage or there are faults in the goods delivered to you, they must be advised to the delivery team and noted on the delivery sheet and reported to us on the day of delivery by email to info@LeatherSofasOnline.co.uk. Any damage and/or faults reported after this time, that have not been caused by improper use, will be treated as a warranty claim and corrected by the appropriate service company appointed to carryout such work.

All products have a full manufacturers warranty, which is 1 year unless otherwise stated.

This does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Do I have to help carry or assemble any of the furniture I order?
No, you don't have to carry or assemble our sofas (except our cheapest range, the self-assembly sofas).

All our sofa deliveries (excluding self assembly sofas) are carried out by an experienced two-man team. There is no charge for delivery to one address for all orders which include at least one upholstery item - a sofa, armchair, sofa bed or corner seating - and there is also no charge for orders over £250.

The two-man team will take great care to ensure there is no damage to your property or possessions and they will make their best efforts to place your sofa where you want it to go.

When we have been previously informed, deliveries can be to either the ground floor or to other floors. However it is the responsibility of the customer and the person receiving the goods to advise us beforehand of any difficulties that may be encountered at the point of delivery, for example steps, narrow doorways or difficult access points, soft or slippery pathways and difficult road access.



What happens once I have placed my order ?
You will receive an email confirmation and a phone call within two working days to discuss the delivery of your order and to fix a time to suit you. Our delivery team will then contact you approximately 14 days prior to delivery to confirm the arrangements and to cover any difficulties of access or other special requirements.
