Charles Eames was one the leading designers of the 20th century. He worked with his wife Ray to produce many iconic designs that have become masterpieces of the modern movement. This comfortable chair & footstool which is also known as the Baseball Glove chair, was originally designed for film director Billy Wilder in 1956 and this version faithfully reflects Eames original intentions but at a fraction of the cost of an original chair. In black leather and Rosewood veneer on a swivel base it adds sculptural presence to any room and provides a wonderfully relaxing experience.
